Get Involved
Peace demands action.
Find your place at MAPA. Here are some ways to get involved.

Volunteer
Show up where MAPA needs hands-on help.
Volunteers help MAPA reach people, run events, support campaigns, contact members, maintain organizing lists, write materials, and keep the day-to-day work moving.
Table at events, gather petition signatures, and talk with supporters.
Help issue teams with research, advocacy, calls, writing, and organizing.
Support mailings, phone banks, data entry, setup, cleanup, and logistics.

Events
Attend, learn, organize, and bring others.
MAPA events are one of the easiest ways to enter the work. Come to a public program, bring someone with you, and connect with the people already organizing.
Attend webinars, forums, teach-ins, film screenings, and community meetings.
Join rallies, vigils, lobby days, and campaign events when they are scheduled.
Meet organizers, task force members, volunteers, speakers, and allied groups.

Membership
Members give MAPA the base to keep acting.
Become a MAPA member today to support our long-term organizing.
Annual membership dues begin at $40 per year for an individual, $65 for a family, or $10 for students or those with low income.

Donations and dues to Massachusetts Peace Action may be used for political purposes and are not tax-deductible.
Receive campaign updates, action alerts, newsletters, and event information.
Vote on endorsements, organizational priorities, and the election of Board members.
Help sustain MAPA’s political advocacy, education, campaigns, and year-round organizing.
