Stop the Madness in Washington

Join a public protest in Boston calling for an end to war, militarism, political corruption, attacks on immigrant communities, climate destruction, and policies that organizers say are placing growing burdens on working families.

Organizers are calling for an end to U.S. involvement in wars abroad and for greater investment in the needs of people at home. The protest will highlight concerns about the conflicts affecting Iran and Palestine, U.S. foreign policy, military spending, nuclear escalation, immigration enforcement, climate change, corporate influence, and the rising cost of living.

Participants will call for public resources to be directed toward priorities such as affordable housing, health care, child care, education, mental health and addiction services, transportation, food, and energy costs rather than expanding military budgets.

The rally will also raise concerns about ICE raids, government surveillance, environmental destruction, and the influence of billionaires and large corporations on public policy.

On September 26, participants will gather at Park Street in Boston to call for peace, justice, democracy, and action to protect the planet.

The organizers say the rally is intended to bring together individuals and organizations committed to collective action and to continuing movements for peace, economic justice, human rights, and environmental protection.
