Cuba in the Valley Films: Operation Peter Pan

Join us for the next event in the Cuba in the Valley Film Series. Operation Peter Pan is a documentary about the 14,000 Cuban children sent alone to the United States by their parents between 1960 and 1962, amid rumors that parents would lose their parental rights and that the children would be sent to the Soviet Union for schooling. The film includes interviews with several of those children, now adults, and follows a group returning to Cuba for the first time after more than 50 years.
