Backyard Cookout, Social and MAPA Fundraiser

Paul Shannon and Vickie Rothbaum invite you to a cookout/social and fundraising event to benefit Mass Peace Action (MAPA).

Join us on Sunday, September 13, from 4pm to 6pm for our backyard cookout in Somerville!

(A seven-minute walk from the Porter Square red line station. And there will be plenty of on-street parking on a Sunday)

There will be lots of hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers in addition to vegetarian and vegan options, simple desserts, beer, wine and soft drinks.

Hear about Mass Peace Action’s work to end the wars in Gaza and Ukraine. Under these dire circumstances in which we live, discuss how we can unite our efforts for peace with ecology and social and economic justice.
