Wake up the Earth 2026: Volunteer for Peace!
The 48th annual Wake Up the Earth Festival will take place on Saturday, May 2rd, 2026, from 12 PM to 4 PM.
MAPA will set up our peace and justice outreach table on the field across from Stony Brook Station on the Orange line in Jamaica Plain. Join us for an hour or two to distribute pamphlets, buttons, and Stop the War on Iran signs, and ask people to sign the latest peace petitions.
Additionally, we will set up the Eyes Wide Open exhibit at the festival, reminding everyone of the civilians killed in the war, including 165 elementary school girls killed in Minab, Iran, on the first day of the war. This exhibit will be at the basketball court.
We will be working in shifts, so sign up here if you are available, and be sure to indicate which shift you can join!
