Sumud: Film Screening & Discussion
Please join us as we view and discuss SUMUD: A Doctor’s Report on Genocide and Survival. The film follows an American anesthesiologist volunteering in Gaza, with commentary on the genocide by Omar El-Akkad, Egyptian-Canadian journalist.
A discussion will follow the 27 min. viewing of the film with the film’s director, Jan Haaken, and co-founder of Doctors Against Genocide, Dr. Karameh Hamash-Kuemmerle. Nancy Murray, representing the Alliance for Water Justice in Palestine and the Gaza Mental Health Foundation, will facilitate.
