As they’ve done for the past 15 years, on Hiroshima Day, August 6th, the Quakers of Friends Meeting at Cambridge will once again sponsor a community reading of Thomas Merton’s meditation “Original Child Bomb” at 6:00 at the Quaker Meeting House (5 Longfellow Park, Cambridge).
After the reading there will be a procession to the Charles River for the floating of origami peace cranes and personal messages of peace and hope.
