Trump’s “Peace Proposal”, the UN Security Council resolution and their significance for the future of Gaza

Phyllis Bennis and Richard Falk will focus on the developments on the ground in Gaza, the US role and Trump’s “peace” plan, the consequences of the latest UN Security Council resolution, and what the UN has done and failed to do regarding the genocide.  They will also talk about the current situation in the West Bank.

Phyllis Bennis is Program Director at the Institute for Policy Studies; in 2001 helped found the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, served 6 Years on the board of Jewish Voice for Peace.  She is author of the 2025 Understanding Palestine and Israel (Interlink Books).

Richard Falk is former UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Territories for the UN Human Rights Council 2008-2014. He is Professor Emeritus of International Law at Princeton University.
