DESCRIPTION:Via Watertown Citizens for Peace\, Justice and Environment: \nOn Saturday\, August 9\, Watertown Citizens will hold our Annual Remembrance of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This is the 80th anniversary of the bombing and in recognition of the Peace and Common Security’s effort to place a Nuclear Disarmament Resolution in front of the Watertown City Council\, the theme of this year’s event is “Back from the Brink.” \nWe will gather in Watertown Square for a Silent Vigil and Brief Program at 7:00 PM. At 8:00 PM we will move to the MDCR Dock for music and personal reflections follow by the launching of the candle boats. \nPlease mark your calendars and spread the word!
