SUMMARY:Gaza Memorial Service: Honor our Gazan Babies
DESCRIPTION:On Memorial Day\, Monday May 26\, 2025\, with flags furling and banners signaling Gazan Children’s voices on the world stage\, Veterans For Peace Boston will launch a Guerilla Theatre event at 1:00 pm\, Samuel Adams Statue\, Faneuil Hall\, Boston. \nThe Guerilla Theatre event will feature Arabic music leading into the display of three Palestinian children in shrouds\, killed by Israeli airstrikes. It should be noted that the shrouds do not contain real bodies\, but the names and faces on the shrouds are from live victims in Gaza. \nThe main feature of the program is a video recording of public responses to the shrouded babies and their responses to the question\, “What do you think of children of Gaza having a voice on the World Stage?”* the recorded interviews will be as they happen. They will not be broadcast to the public. Final versions will be available on Youtube and social media worldwide. \nFollowing the interviews\, taps will be played publicly by VFP members.\nA public announcement will be broadcast over loudspeakers at the conclusion of taps.
