SUMMARY:Hiroshima Day Commemoration
DESCRIPTION:Continuing our tradition of commemorating the dropping of two atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki\, we will gather for a community reading of Thomas Merton’s meditation “Original Child Bomb\,” after which there’ll be a period of personal reflections.  We’ll then proceed to the Charles River to float origami cranes with our hopes for universal justice and enduring peace. \nWe start the reading at 6:00pm\, proceeding to the river at 7:00pm.  Please share this invitation and witness for a future free from the curse of nuclear weapons.  For more information and how to join using ZOOM\, contact John Bach at bolder@fmcquaker.org. or (970) 209-8346
