DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the summer with MAPA’s administrative director and Gaza/Mideast campaign co-lead\, Cole Harrison\, and Racial Justice/Indigenous Solidarity co-chair\, Claire Gosselin\, at their home in Roslindale! \nBring your voice and an instrument for some musical fun. :)  Liz Selleck and Karen Kirchoff will lead us in a few anti-fascist and anti-authoritarian songs. \nAttendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about MAPA’s efforts to terminate the ongoing genocide in Gaza\, end the war in Ukraine\, reconcile with Cuba\, China\, and Iran\, cut the Pentagon budget\, roll back MAGA\, and face the twin existential threats of climate change and nuclear weapons. \nBrief updates will be presented by climate activist Loie Hayes\, Progressive Roslindale/ West Roxbury activist Nina Lev\, CD8 for Palestine organizer Bahar Sharafi\, MAPA interns Sam Levine (Emerson) and Janira Skrbkova (Northeastern)\, and MAPA organizer Elizabeth Baldwin. \nJulia Mejia\, MAPA endorsed candidate for re-election as Boston City Councilor at Large\, will speak. \nThere will be plenty of refreshments\, with vegan options available. \nIf interested in attending\, make sure to call for Cole and Claire’s address!  We’re about 2 miles from Forest Hills and a 8 minute walk from Roslindale Square\, and can pick you up at Forest Hills if that helps (advance notice would help).  (617) 469-9838 or write info@masspeaceaction.org. \nSign up here\, and if you wish\, make a donation!
