Join us for a dialogue with H.E. Yuri Gala López: Deputy Ambassador of Cuba to the United Nations
Ambassador Gala López is a 1992 graduate of the Higher Institute of International Relations, Havana Cuba and holds Masters in National Security and Public Administration. He is a career diplomat, serving in various positions in the Executive, Bilateral and Multilateral and North American Divisions in the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), as 3rd Secretary at the Cuban embassy in Canada, and as Ambassador to Jamaica and Cuba’s Permanent Representative to the International Seabed Authority before joining the Cuban Permanent Mission to the United Nations in 2021. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
