The Road to Peace will be hosted by Islamic Council of New England, the Boston Workers Circle Center for Jewish Culture and Social Justice, and Massachusetts Peace Action – Wed., Sept. 25 at 7:00pm at the Hillside Community Church, 144 North Street, Medford. The panel and community conversation will feature Jewish, Muslim, and Christian thought-leaders and peacemakers in a moderated discussion and community conversation of justice and peace for the people of Israel and Palestine.
The event will feature regionally and nationally celebrated panelists: Dr. Karameh Kuemmerle, Pediatric Neurologist, Boston Children’s Hospital; Dr. Eve Spangler Author and Associate Professor, Boston College; Dr. Lara Jirmanus, MD, MPH Instructor, Harvard Medical School; and Rabbi Brian Walt, Co-Founder, Rabbis for Human Rights-North America. The panel will be moderated by Rev. Ashlee Wiest-Laird Pastor, First Baptist Church, Jamaica Plain, MA

The Islamic Council of New England has been the collective voice of the Muslim Community in New England since 1984. This event is part of a series hosted by the Interfaith Committee whose mission is to foster and promote education, awareness, and cooperation between Muslims and peoples of other faiths.
