Kairos/Franklin County Justice for Palestine, in collaboration with the Traprock Center for Peace and Justice and Western Mass Code Pink, will hold a stand-out on Greenfield Town Common to mark Land Day in Palestine, which falls on March 30 th. Land Day commemorates an event on March 30, 1976, when Israel confiscated 1500 acres of Palestinian agricultural land and killed six of the unarmed Palestinian protestors. As Israel has continued to take Palestinian land and attack protesters, Land Day serves as a national day of protest and action.
