The GRALTA Foundation continues to explore the Israel-Palestine conflict with reports on our January Study Tour to Israel/Palestine.
Bemis Hall, 15 Bedford Road, Lincoln, MA on Sunday, March 19 at 1 PM.
Two members of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Denise Provost (D-Somerville) and Paul Heroux (D-Attleboro) spent 13-days in the region meeting with Knesset Members from four of the ten seated parties, the PLO’s negotiating team, the UN, academics, NGOs, and peace activists. We visited Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, the area around the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, the Galilee, Bethlehem and Nazareth.
Hear what we learned on March 19 through presentations and panel discussions—all with an emphasis on audience interaction.
People are invited to attend only some or all of the afternoon’s sessions:
1:00: Reports from Representatives Heroux and Provost with audience Q&A.
2:30: Break, with complimentary food and beverages.
2:50: Boston College Professor Eve Spangler and her students with audience Q&A. (GRALTA joined Eve’s delegation for a day in Ramallah.)
3:30: Panel discussion: Paul Heroux, Denise Provost, Eve Spangler, and GRALTA tour leaders, concluding with Q&A and audience discussion.
This is a free event, but we would appreciate knowing if you plan to attend to help us in planning the food.
