Why has the U.S. imposed deadly sanctions on Cuba and Venezuela? How is Cuban Revolution relevant for our organizing in the U.S.? Together we’ll discuss how we can organize beyond our borders to strengthen movements in the U.S. and abroad!
The Anti-Imperialist Action Committee is hosting a series of report-back events from Cuba and Venezuela! Join us to hear stories from local activist Eli Smith and special guest Dr. Gloria Caballero Roca.
Eli Smith joined organizers from across the U.S. for the International Peoples’ Assembly’s May Day youth brigade to Cuba. The delegation met with Cuban doctors, unions and workers, students, community organizers, and government officials to learn about Cuba’s current reality.
