Veterans and Peace Activists – please join Veterans for Peace and the Leftist Marching Band
Parade for Peace
On Sunday, Oct. 8, local community groups, artists, and activists working for a variety of progressive causes — economic justice, protecting the environment, world peace, an end to racism — join the brass bands to make a spectacular parade from Davis Square to Harvard Square along Mass. Avenue.
We will gather for a Peace Parade betwen 11:00 am and 12:00 noon in Davis Square (look for VFP flags) and step off at noon behind the Leftist Marching Band. Bring your flags, signs, and banners. It is a one mile walk. See you there!
