The Greater Boston Area Cuba Standout will take place at the Somerville Public Library on Sunday, March 26. After the standout, we will enter the library and attend the Building Youth Fellowship event which starts at 2pm.
Call for an End the U.S. Embargo & Blockade of Cuba.
Demand that the US Lift the 243 Punitive Sanctions on Cuba.
Take Cuba off the list of so-called State Sponsors of Terrorism.
These punitive measures harm the people of Cuba and prevent normal relations and exchange between the Cuban and US people. The measures are outmoded and counterproductive, contributing to shortages of food, medicine and equipment in Cuba, blocking sources of fuel and energy to the Island, cutting off the Island from credit and normal financial transactions. We call for normal relations with Cuba and engagement and dialogue, not punishment. It is unfair, and unjust, it is not who we are as a people.
LET’S CALL OUT TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE:
TAKE CUBA OFF THE SO-CALLED TERRORISTS LIST. END THE EMBARGO
Turn out with our banners, leaflets & actions we can take to call for justice. It’s just one hour out of our day. For the Cuban people, US policy has been a lifetime sentence.
Please take a minute to RSVP so we know who can come.
Cuba is Our Friend and Not our Enemy. Let Cuba Live!
Can’t join us on March 26? Take action NOW!
