Aviva Chomsky of Salem State University has just published Central America’s Forgotten History and will review this history to address the current situations in Central America and their impact of immigration.

Lulu Matute of School of the Americas Watch who will speak on U.S. intervention in Honduras, the resulting human rights crisis, and efforts to change U.S. policy towards Honduras.

John Lindsay Poland, of Stop US Arms to Mexico/Global Exchange, outlining the impact of gun sales, legal and illegal, on the people of Mexico and Central America.

Solidarity actions we in the U.S. can take will be presented.
