Joe Lauria is Editor-in-Chief of Consortium News and co-host of the CNLive! podcast.  A former correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, and Sunday Times, he is co-author with Mike Gravel of A Political Odyssey: The Rise of American Militarism and One Man’s Fight to Stop It.  Mr. Lauria has traveled to more than 70 nations. Much of his reporting has focused on the Middle East.  He has received two journalism awards and taught journalism at two U.S. universities.
