Mon January 17 @ 12:00 pm - 4:15 pm EST

The Resistance Center for Peace and Justice is excited to host its 38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration.
The day-long, virtual event will include a walking tour, convocation with speakers, community workshops, and opportunities to get involved in social justice work.
This year’s theme is: Land Justice Here Fosters Justice Everywhere. Attendees will leave with a robust understanding of the connections between Dr. King’s legacy and contemporary struggles for land justice.
The Keynote Speaker is Rhonda Anderson, Western Massachusetts Commissioner on Indian Affairs and Co-Director of the Ohketeau Cultural Center. Other speaking guests include Northampton City Councilor Jamila Gore, a poem by Naima Penniman recorded at Soul Fire Farm, and more!
