Rise Up for a Livable Future
September 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The climate crisis is not a singular, or simple issue. Complex, and symptomatic of deeper struggles, it challenges us to rise to the occasion and address the forces that have led to this catastrophe. If we hope for peace and a livable future for all, we must recognize its broad, intersectional causes, declare an emergency, and take swift action.
Mass. Peace Action’s Peace & Climate working group will host a collaboration between attendees and movement leaders who dedicate their lives to fighting for our survival. With action-oriented climate movement leaders, we will discuss how peace, climate, and justice intersect, and how we can rise up.
Join us on September 26th, from 6-8:30 PM at the Central Square Library (45 Pearl St., Cambridge, MA 02138) to become a part of the movements that will define our time; those that recognize the power we all have, and fight for a livable future.
