Paper Lanterns: Special Screening with Director Barry Frechette and Producer Peter Grilli

September 7, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$10

Japan Society of Boston is screening the documentary film “Paper Lanterns” on September 7 & 8 at their location on 50 Milk St. (Anchor Room) in downtown Boston. It is a story of historian Shigeaki Mori who, for decades, tried to find the families of 12 American P.O.W. who lost their lives in the Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.  As a result of his efforts, their names are now included as the victims at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Hope you get to see this poignant and powerful film!
