Hearing on Taxpayers’ Information and Communication Act

The state legislature’s Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight will hear testimony on the Taxpayers Information and Communication Act, a bill submitted by the Massachusetts Peace and Justice Network as part of the Commonwealth Peace and Justice Agenda. Come out on November 5 to testify for the bill, or to listen and support those who are testifying. Taxpayers Information and Communication Act
AN ACT PROVIDING FEDERAL AND STATE BUDGET INFORMATION TO RESIDENTS OF THE COMMONWEALTH H.2738;S.1819
Calls on the State Treasurer to send an annual, easy to understand report to Mass taxpayers on how their Federal and state income taxes were spent in the prior year.
