For All the Children: Walking to Protect Humanity from Nuclear Destruction

August 5, 2016 @ 8:00 am - August 9, 2016 @ 6:00 pm

REMEMBERING HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI
Western Massachusetts and Boston

HEARING THE CRY OF THE SURVIVORS OF HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI
100,000 killed instantly followed by!more death and unspeakable agony “NUCLEAR WEAPONS NEVER AGAIN ANYWHERE FOR ANY REASON”

“GIVE UP WAR-MAKING”

The US is one of only nine countries possessing nuclear weapons. Just a small portion of the world’s stockpile, if used, would end life on earth. Let the US join with the overwhelming majority of the world’s people and take up true moral leadership to eliminate all nuclear weapons in the US and around the world. This will be the beginning of restoring our vision to see the preciousness of every human being, not to be killed, and!the cherishing of the natural world, not to be exploited.

Hiroshima- Nagasaki – Iraq – Afghani!stan – Ferguson – Orlando – Dallas….

“The world was forever changed here (Hiroshima), but today the children of this city will go through their day in peace. What a precious thing that is. It is worth protecting, and then extending to every child. That is a future we can choose, a future in which Hiroshima and Nagasaki are known not as the dawn of !atomic warfare but as the start of our own moral awakening. “

— President Barack Obama, Hiroshima, May 27 2016
