Eyewitness Palestine: Moving to the Brink

March 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A conversation, lecture, and discussion with Dr. Nancy Murray, Rev. Mariama White-Hammond, and Hubert Murray

After being given a green light by President Trump, Israel has accelerated its land and water grab, and settlement construction. How under these circumstances are Palestinians keeping hope alive? What can we do here to promote a just peace? Members of the recent Eyewitness Palestine delegation will describe what they saw and heard in meetings with farmers, refugees, workers, Israeli refusers, former political prisoners, and activists, including BDS co-founder Omar Barghouti and Ahed Tamimi, whose imprisonment focused world attention on Israel’s treatment of Palestinian children.

The event will be panel-style discussion followed by a Q&A. The event will be in room 313 and is co-sponsored by The Alliance for Water Justice in Palestine. CAS 313 is handicap accessible and the event is free and open to the public.
