Dinner Theater: Rent Relief for Boston Not GE!

September 22, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

GE is getting free rent to move their HQ to Boston while Bostonians can’t afford rent themselves! Learn about it and join the chorus as we perform a play to say: #makeGEpay!

Thursday, Sept 22 is the Renter’s Day of Action organized by Right To The City Alliance in cities across the US. Here with Right to the City Boston we’re marching from 4pm-6pm downtown. We will start at Parcel 23 in Chinatown.  Afterwards the Make GE Pay coalition will hold a Dinner Theater at the new Head Quarters of GE (Necco Court, South Boston, MA) to draw attention to the misplaced priorities of our government: FREE RENT and $150 million in tax breaks for GE while we’re told we don’t have enough public funds for HOUSING, PUBLIC SCHOOLS, and the MBTA.

We’re putting on a play, serving food, and getting our voices heard!
