State House Lobby Day for Peace

Commonwealth Peace and Justice Agenda Lobby Day – Wednesday, January 15
Come advocate for the Commonwealth Peace and Justice Agenda at the State House. The Commonwealth Peace and Justice Agenda is a set of bills prepared by the Massachusetts Peace and Justice Network that address nuclear disarmament, Middle East wars, military spending, legislative ethics, and the design of the state flag and seal, and we oppose two anti-boycott bills. The State Legislature can set the tone to make more progress politically at the national level!
Learn about the agenda, and speak to legislators to support peace! We presented our bills before four committees in 2019, and we hope to visit every member of those committees in the State House and ask them to support our bills. So we need lots of volunteers to help out! Please sign up to attend so we can plan the work!
We will break up into four teams to visit the members of four committees:
