MUSIC FOR PEACE 2018-2019 CONCERT SERIES
Three evenings of chamber music to support our work for a more peaceful U.S. foreign policy

Featuring the Buswell Ensemble: James Buswell, violin, Amy Galluzzo, violin/viola, Carol Ou, cello, with Victor Rosenbaum, piano

Quartet for piano and strings in g minor, K. 478

Featuring Dana Maiben, baroque violin, Kay Ueyama, harpsichord, and Junko Watanabe, soprano
Violin sonatas No. 4, 5, and 6, partita for harpsichord No. 1, and arias
Saturday, MAY 4, 2019: Music of Brahms and Dvoràk
Music of Dvoràk and Brahms, featuring Dvoràk’s “Dumky” Trio in e minor, and the Brahms Piano Quintet in f minor, Op. 32, “often called the crown of his chamber music” according to his biographer Jan Swafford.

All concerts are at 7:30 pm at the Harvard-Epworth Methodist Church, 1555 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. The October 20 and May 4 concerts are on Saturdays; NOTE: the March 15 concert is on a Friday.
Cost for a single concert: $25 for members, $35 for non-members, $10 for students.
Tax-deductible donations to support our work for peace are needed in any amount. Supporters donate $250 or more to Massachusetts Peace Action Education Fund; they receive two tickets with preferred seating in the first 3 rows to each concert and recognition in the programs. Sponsors donate $500 and receive four tickets; Benefactors donate $1,000 and receive eight tickets.
